NASCA operates a highly specialized STEAM lab at GCC International School which comprise of ‘State-of-the Art’ teaching tools / equipment and a world-class curriculum. STEAM education is executed in a highly specialized lab environment at GCC International School with latest teaching tools, equipment’s and a world-class curriculum / modules taught by an expert team of engineer’s.
The STEAM modules includes:
• Robotics
• Coding & Programming
• Sensors & Actuators
• Physics, Mechanics, Electronics,
• Internet of Things (IoT),
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Design Thinking.
The STEAM curriculum comprises of many innovative projects and these span across Grade 1 to
Grade 10. Each grade / division goes through an intensive training schedule of 30 sessions,
spread across 30 weeks. Towards the end of the year, students are assessed on their proficiency
in key parameters such as ‘Concept’, ‘Application’, ‘Structure’, Development’, ‘Skills’ and ‘Project
Presentation’. On successful completion, the students are awarded a level-based certification
in “STEAM Education Curriculum Integration Program”.
Every year GCC International School hosts Science and STEAM Exhibition wherein the students
are given a platform to exhibit knowledge through various projects including working models
based on concepts in Science, Artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics. It is the best example of
Hands-on-project.
